Chocolate Protein Smoothie Bowl

High protein, chocolatey and fruity bowl that's perfect for breakfast or a substantial snack.

  • 6 oz tofu
  • 1 cup coconut milk or other plant milk
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 large banana frozen
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon powdered ginger
  • pinch salt
  • stevia if desired
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 1 cup assorted fruits sliced
  • 1/3 cup hemp hearts


  1. In a high speed blender, process the tofu and coconut milk, or other plant based milk, on slow to medium speed until blended. Then switch to high speed until very creamy. 

  2. Add the cocoa powder, banana, vanilla, ginger, salt, optional stevia, and ice cubes and blend until smooth, creamy, and thick. Use less milk for a thicker bowl and more for thinner. 

  3. Split between two bowls and top with sliced fruit and a sprinkled on serving of hemp hearts. 

Recipe Notes

This provides around 21 grams of protein per serving and a super healthy dose of omega-3s.
