Vegan Lavender Chocolate Freezer Candy

Delicious, simple to make, vegan recipe for chocolate. It only takes a few minutes to make and uses common ingredients.

  • 1/2 cup coconut oil gently melted (not too hot)
  • 1/2 cup brown or white sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa or cacao powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp culinary lavender
  • 1 tsp finely chopped nuts optional
  • 1 tsp cacao nibs optional
  • pinch flake salt optional


  1. Gently melt the coconut oil in the microwave. Remove when almost completely melted and set aside to finish melting for a couple of minutes.

  2. Mix together with the sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.

  3. Pour into your choice of candy molds. I used ice cube trays that I filled about 1/3 of the way full.

  4. When still melted, sprinkle with the culinary lavender, finely chopped nuts (optional), cacao nibs (optional), and a bit of salt.

  5. Place in the fridge or freezer to chill and firm for about 15 minutes.

  6. When ready to serve, simply pop out of the mold.
