Pummelo (Pomelo) Citrus Salad

This salad uses the yummy and unusual Pummelo (or Pomelo). It's a non-hybrid, old fashioned, delicious fruit that's making a comeback.

  • 1/2 cup sectioned and peeled pummelo flesh
  • 1/2 cup mandarin orange sections
  • 1/2 cup blackberries
  • 1/2 cup avocado slices
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • 3 cups salad mix


  • 1/4 cup grapefruit juice
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes or to taste
  • stevia to taste optional


  1. Prepare the produce and assemble the salad.

  2. Whisk together the dressing ingredients until well mixed. Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve over salad.
