Chocolate Chia Super Smoothie

  • 1 cup coconut or almond milk
  • 1 large banana, frozen
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder, or cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup frozen blueberries
  • 2 tbsp chia
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds or hemp hearts
  • 1/8 cup pistachios
  • pinch salt
  • 6 ice cubes
  • stevia optional


  1. Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender and process until very smooth. 

    Top with a few cacao nibs and pistachios, if desired. 

Recipe Notes

This makes a thick smoothie. If you'd like it thinner, just add more plant milk or water. If you'd like thicker, more like ice cream, just add less.
