Tofu in the Air Fryer
I was late to the air fryer club and only got one a few weeks ago. I LOVE it. It makes perfect, crispy tofu, roasted vegetables, and delicious French fries. I’ve used my oven very little since I got it, to be honest.

These croutons are perfect on a salad with Ceasar dressing.
How to Make Tofu Croutons
Making crispy, delicious tofu croutons is incredibly easy in an air fryer. Just toss the cubed tofu with some herbs and spices and air fry for just a few minutes. Done.
Start by Pressing and Cutting the Tofu
This works best with pressed tofu because the herbs and spices will stick better than they will to soggy tofu.
Sprinkle on a few herbs, spices, and just a dash of corn starch or arrowroot powder …
… and throw it in the air fryer for about 12 minutes. That’s it.
These are so good by themselves but are also great on any salad. I made a delicious Ceasar Salad Dressing and put these on top of a bowl of lettuce with carrots, olives, and avocado and a few vegan cheese shreds. Wow. Yum.

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon corn starch or arrowroot powder

Instructions
-
Start with a full block of extra firm tofu. First, press it using a tofu press or by placing it between two heavy plates. Press for a half hour to get much of the extra water out.

-
In a medium bowl, stir together the remaining ingredients until well combined. Add in the tofu cubes and stir to coat well.
-
Place on an airy fryer tray and evenly distribute the cubes. Air fry on 400 degrees F for about 12 minutes, stopping halfway to stir, if required.
This is the air fryer I got. I absolutely love it and can't say enough good things about it. It's perfect.Reccomended Air Fryer for Making Crispy Tofu
