This delectble hummus goes with just about anything. It’s tasty alongside just about any plant-based roast, stuffing, or mashed potatoes.

Hearty spices like rosemary, sage, and thyme add loads of flavors.
I added homemade roasted pumpkin seeds with cranberries because that was what I had. But pistachios would be delish here, too.
Serve this simply on toast, crackers, or chips or use as a side dressing with vegetables or potatoes.

- 15 oz canned chickpeas drained, reserve 1/2 cup bean water
- 1/2 cup cooked sweet potato
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp rosemary
- 1/4 tsp sage
- 1/8 tsp thyme
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/8 tsp marjoram
- pinch nutmeg
- salt to taste
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries for garnish
- 1/4 cup nuts or seeds for garnish
Place all ingredients except garmishes in a food processor or blender. Puree until smooth. Use as little or as much of the reserved bean water to aid in blending and to give your desired consistancy.
Spoon into serving bowl and add dried cranberries, nuts, seeds, and a sprinkle of sage, thyme, amd/or rosemary.
Keeps for up to a few days if covered in the refrigerator.
