Vegan Lavender Chocolate Candy Simply Tasty
Vegan Lavender Chocolate Candy is simple to make, takes only a few minutes, and is delicious. Culinary lavender is available in most groceries now and this recipe is just a simple blend of coconut oil, cocoa powder, and sugar. It’s refrigerator chocolate and hardens up best when cooled.
These delectable lavender chocolates are ideally suited for colder weather because the coconut oil won’t melt as fast.
If you ever liked the Ice Cubes brand chocolate candies then you’ll love these just very slightly more sophisticated dairy-free vegan versions.
Lovely Lavender
Vegan Lavender Chocolate Candy is one way to use it, but Lavender is one of my all-time favorite herbs and versatile with a variety of uses.
We love visiting the Lavender Labyrinth in Shelby, MI, near Lake Michigan. It’s gigantic … and gorgeous. The labyrinth part is the outer rings with lavender. The center of it is intertwined herb beds. That’s actually where I picked up my bag of lavender I used here.

Vegan Lavender Chocolate Freezer Candy
Delicious, simple to make, vegan recipe for chocolate. It only takes a few minutes to make and uses common ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup coconut oil gently melted (not too hot)
- 1/2 cup brown or white sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa or cacao powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp culinary lavender
- 1 tsp finely chopped nuts optional

Instructions
-
Gently melt the coconut oil in the microwave. Remove when almost completely melted and set aside to finish melting for a couple of minutes.

Mix together with the sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.
-
Pour into your choice of candy molds. I used ice cube trays that I filled about 1/3 of the way full.
-
When still melted, sprinkle with the culinary lavender, finely chopped nuts (optional), cacao nibs (optional), and a bit of salt.
-
Place in the fridge or freezer to chill and firm for about 15 minutes.
-
When ready to serve, simply pop out of the mold.
